The Garden District Band

The Garden District Band performs original compositions, and over 3,000 song selections from the Great American Songbook, and every decade from the beginning of jazz to present day. They performed seven nights a week from 2006 to 2024 with over 12,000 hours of performance time at a local venue in New Orleans.

The Garden District Band is available from three to nine members and has performed for events worldwide featuring the trio, five, and eight-member band in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Malaysia and Turkey.

The Garden District Band, organized in 1994, has refined and polished a stunning repertoire of many jazz styles infused with a true New Orleans feel into their selections. Many of the best modern jazz performers have held their own within this group.

The “Garden District Trio” has recorded ten albums (CD’s, digital albums) which feature local New Orleans jazz icons. These recordings are available on all major digital music platforms.
